Hypothetical example: a Greater Sudbury project specialist has a U.S. offer with a broad title, a résumé describing several responsibilities and no final duty breakdown from the employer. That is enough to identify questions, but not to assume a classification fits. Describe the actual proposal and separate facts already supported from information still needed.
TN, L-1A, L-1B, E-2, EB-5 and Gold Card each require a different evidence assessment. A professional offer, an intracompany transfer, a treaty investment and an immigrant pathway are not interchangeable descriptions. Begin with citizenship, intended duties, company relationships and the real funding proposal, then compare the relevant requirements.
Choose what brings you here. Leave with a short list of things to discuss—not another long form to fill out.
The employer’s label is the beginning of the analysis.

Use an evidence-gap list with three columns: the important fact, the record currently available and the person or institution that may hold the missing material. Prioritize gaps that could change the route. A missing duty description can be more consequential than a polished cover page, and a bank balance does not explain the history of its funds.

No promises we can’t keep.
Describe the actual work, company transfer or investment in ordinary language before choosing a label.
Mark what existing records establish and what still depends on another person or institution.
Identify missing information that could change eligibility, the proposed route or a commitment.
Reassess the proposal when the records arrive; more documents do not necessarily cure a substantive mismatch.
An initial consultation can take place before the whole file is assembled. Bring genuine records and explain their limits. Do not recreate historical documents or fill a blank with an assumption. A useful review identifies what could resolve the uncertainty and what may remain a substantive eligibility issue even after more paperwork is collected.
Find your pathwayFor a Greater Sudbury consultation request, identify the decision you need to make and the evidence you can obtain. Confirm how sensitive records should be provided and what review is available. Technical, corporate, accounting and immigration questions may need different expertise; the file should make those questions clear without claiming conclusions that have not been reached.

Yes. Explain what is available, what is missing and the decision you are considering. The review can identify which gaps matter before you collect more material.
A résumé organizes a history but may not establish dates, locations or duties sufficiently on its own. Identify the actual supporting records.
Describe the genuine limitation and available evidence for review. Do not fabricate documents or assume an unsupported statement will be enough.
