A future award should not be presented as an already earned qualification. Review what the profession requires and what the current records establish.
Separate completion, award and document dates
Obtain the institution’s explanation of the applicant’s actual standing and any available final records. Identify whether the required qualification has been earned rather than assuming that a ceremony or expected graduation date settles the issue. Do not alter a document to remove a pending condition.
The technology diploma and transcripts, certifications and technical-training records, project evidence showing the ability to solve practical problems or apply the discipline to research, and an employer letter naming the supervising professional and describing the supporting duties. The most useful thing an employer can provide is specific and boring: a letter that names the employing entity precisely, describes the professional duties in operational language, identifies the listed profession being claimed, and states the period and terms of engagement. If the diploma-and-experience branch applies, the work is heavier: letters from previous employers describing management responsibilities, dates of employment, and enough detail to show that the roles were management in hotel or restaurant operations rather than supervisory work in an adjacent field.
