Scope the documentation work
Separate existing records from new explanatory work and confirm who can verify the account. Budget official fees, appropriate translations and professional assistance independently. Do not invent historical reports or present a newly written explanation as a contemporaneous record.
The petition's cost has three parts: government fees from the fee schedule, including the I-129 fee, the fraud prevention and detection fee, any asylum program fee applicable to the petitioner and optional premium processing; professional fees for drafting and reviewing; and evidence costs. Someone has to identify the proprietary process precisely, retrieve training and validation records that may be on a shared drive nobody has curated, and describe technical material in language a non-specialist reviewer can follow. If the beneficiary will be stationed primarily at an unaffiliated company’s site, that unaffiliated employer cannot principally control and supervise the beneficiary, and the placement cannot be essentially an arrangement to provide labour for hire rather than to use the petitioner’s specialized knowledge.
