Review the change before carrying it out
Record the revised responsibilities and duration and identify the proper immigration steps. A client’s request to stay longer does not remove TN’s temporary-entry condition or authorize work outside the qualifying arrangement.
Set dates for receiving the employer letter, credential review, licence confirmation, family document checks, and the intended immigration procedure. Review current entry procedures before booking travel, and if the employer, the duties, or the assignment changes, ask for a fresh review rather than assuming the original plan still applies. The practical sequence is to settle the engagement terms, make the corporation’s support letter consistent with the client evidence, assemble the credential and experience records, and then present the application. Before travel or productive activity, obtain the final duty allocation, confirm the US or foreign employer, the U.S. entity for which the activity will be performed, and the temporary engagement, and match the work to one listed USMCA profession and its qualification rule.
