No automatic exemption follows from delayed travel. Each eligible included unmarried child under 21 has the published US$1 million gift and US$15,000 nonrefundable processing requirement, including corporate cases.
Budget from inclusion and eligibility
Assess any CSPA question using actual case dates instead of assuming a preferred travel date fixes age. Keep the principal, spouse and child amounts separate from possible visa-related and travel costs. If the plan changes, obtain current instructions; do not treat a delayed flight as a way to avoid an official family obligation.
The corporate terms also describe an annual maintenance charge of one percent and a five-percent transfer fee with a new background check if the sponsorship is moved to a replacement employee, and reuse of a corporate gift for a different person is not automatic. The single most important commercial question is therefore what happens to the money if an application is refused, withdrawn or abandoned, and the answer must come from the government's own published material rather than from an intermediary with an interest in the transaction. Budget separately for any government payment, legal advice, taxes, document collection, currency conversion, and relocation costs, and mark each item as confirmed or provisional.
